SOUNDSTREAM BROADCASTING CORPORATION (SBC) is a domestic Broadcasting/Radio-TV Corporation, duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1995.
Subsequently, Radio Station DWMX –FM, 97.7 MHz started operations in January 1996 under a temporary permit from the National Telecommunication Commission. On September 5, 1996, the Congressional Franchise, Republic Act No. 8209 was signed into law granting SBC a term of twenty-five (25) years from effectively thereof and the “right to construct. DWMX FM 97.7 MHz is a commercial station in Santiago City, Isabela, reaching almost all provinces in Cagayan Valley catering to the A, B, C, D & E economic classes and a member of the KBP.
SBC is required with modern facility for its operations. It uses fully digital equipment, e.g. Console and OTs AV Pro – DJ music system.
DWMX, broadcasting as Sweet 97.7 FM, is a radio station owned and operated by Soundstream Broadcasting Corporation. The station’s studio and transmitter are located at the 3rd Floor, Heritage Commercial Plaza Complex, Maharlika Highway, Barangay. Malvar, Santiago, Isabela.
